Uwtl for the third night running. Last night was way way way too late to even think about writing, having gotten home at 6am. Tonight is more doable at 2:30 as it's time to call it a night.
Not the most productive day of all time after one of the longest days in recent memory, but a good day nonetheless.

Sunday January 16th, 2011
Uwtl for night 1 of a guaranteed 3 in a row. Tonight I attempt to stay up in order to wake up late enough to continue staying fully alert and uwtl the next 2 nights for work. This little movie I'm working on is shutting down Hollywood Blvd. the next few nights and i'm going to do my darndest to make it t0 3, 4, 5 in the morning both nights.
Just finished a wee bit of writing and hoping to stay up another hour or so. Was a nice rare day off for me today. Little ice skating, football, dinner for the Grandpa's 87th and BLUE VALENTINE with a solid helping of The Golden Globes interspersed. Thought the movie was pretty great, not the most stimulating or flashy story for sure but there was something about it that just really got me. Highly recommend.
Going to watch an ep or two of THE WALKING DEAD now, can't imagine a better way to start some sleepless nights than by powering through the rest of TV's best new Zombie show.

Uwtl after a mellow day off. Lot's of TV watching highlighted by powering through a nice chunk of BREAKING BAD season 1. Between that, MAD MEN, THE WALKING DEAD and the upcoming THE KILLING, I may just give up all other networks. So good.
Not that tired but think this a sufficient opportunity to hit the hay.

UWTL on a Monday is never a good thing, well maybe not never, but right now it's not good. My plans of morning exercise now look to be kaput and exchanged in favor of a fullish night sleep.
Then again, these days for me this essentially Thursday night, which for most youngish people is a night to go big, am I right? Just finished a tired but lovely hour of writings. Fairly certain it's dreck but it's better than the nothing I'd been so inclined to produce late last year.
Oddly timed with the onset of New Year's Resolutions, starting January 1st I've begun a regiment of getting shit done writing wise. The low key goal of a good 15-30 minutes of actual writing, especially on long and tiring workdays, has allowed me to make things happen. Back when I was setting page goals or 2-3 to all day goals of creative output, very little ever stacked up. Now, expecting a tiny bit from myself has allowed a very high percentage of successful days. That and writing on paper as opposed to the eternal distraction that is a computer, and I may just have a script on my hands (albeit, not necessarily a good one) in the not too distant future.
I'd like to think this year might just be titled, Jeremy Doing Work: a Spike Lee joint.

So tired right now. Uwtl after being uwte with a nice full day of standing around on a sound stage in between. It's good to be back to work but standing around with little to do all day ain't the best.
Treated myself to the start of some serious COMMUNITY catching up today. The show has gotten so incredibly good i'd even dare to call it profound. It has more depth and richness than any other network comedy on now and prob will rank up there with the all timers if it gets a fair shake. Few episodes to go to be caught up and can't wait for the stop motion xmas ep.

UWTL for the sake of getting in the writing for the day. It's been a lazy Sunday of busy work, football and de ja movies.
My fantasy football season ended fairly rough. But THE KING'S SPEECH was really really good so a solid day of ups and downs ended on a high note.
Time for some amount of sleep, then it's back to the grind manana.
